I recently ordered a Nikon D750 to be my new primary full-frame camera and planned a shoot with my friend Noa to test it out. The goal of the shoot was to find locations around Isla Vista and then find clothing in Noa’s wardrobe to match the set. After about an hour of scouting we found Manzanita Village at UCSB and the rooftop of Campus Icon UCSB off of Seville Rd. Noa’s yellow sweater and olive green jeans matched perfectly with some plants on campus and her simple brown pants/ white t-shirt combo worked perfectly with a brown couch on the rooftop lounge. All of the photos were naturally lit and captured with the Nikkor 50mm F/1.4G. In the final photo I really enjoy the background of an early sunset over the Goleta area.
